Learn to meditate - Next Steps:


This is the last episode in this meditation mini-course. I hope you've gotten a lot out of it and are now on your way to becoming a regular meditator. If you'd like to deepen your meditation practice and connect further with Ananda, here are a few steps you can take:
Kriya Yoga is the main technique taught by Paramhansa Yogananda, author ofAutobiography of a Yogi. It's a technique of energy control or pranayama. Yogananda called it "the airplane route to God", meaning that it helps you to advance spiritually very quickly.

Although what you have learned so far is enough to get started, I've kept it brief to make it easy to learn in one sitting, and have only just scratched the surface. This course covers several new techniques, as well as more in-depth information about hong-sau. It includes Paramhansa Yogananda's Energization Exercises, which helps you to draw in more energy whenever you need it. It can significantly improve your meditations when you practice it each morning. This class is also the first step to learning Kriya Yoga.
