Package Description

While on an expedition to Mt. Kamet , Frank S. Smith an English mountaineer & explorer discovered the valley of flowers. The valley is an enchanting sight with an impressive array of over 300 varieties of wild Himalayan flowers. The snow-capped peaks including Nilgiri Parbat (6474 m) stand in bold relief against the skyline. The Legend is that Hanuman collected 'Sanjeevani' herb from this valley to revive Lakshman. Other attraction of the trek is a day excursion to Hemkund Sahib - A sacred Sikh shrine is situated on the foot of the Hemkund Lake (4320 mt) and Badrinath - one of the four Hindu Pilgrimage (Dham) in the Himalayas.

Day 1: Haridwar / Rishikesh - Joshimath (1,890 m) Drive - 250 Kms
Morning meet at Railway station or Bus station at Haridwar / Rishikesh and drive for to reach Joshimath which is the winter abode of Lord Badrinath. Lunch enroute. Evening arrive Joshimath and check into the Hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Joshimath - Ghangria Trek - 4/5 Hrs
Morning after Breakfast drive to reach Govindghat. Start trekking to reach Ghangaria the base camp for The Valley of Flowers and Hemkund Sahib. Dinner and overnight stay in Hotel at Ghangaria.

Day 3: Ghangria - Valley of flower - Ghangaria Round Trek - 12 Kms
DProceed for excursion to Valley of Flowers. The whole valley is dotted with variety of exotic Himalayan flowers and other flora. In the afternoon return back to camp at Ghangaria.

Day 4: Ghangria - Hemkund Sahib - Ghangaria Round Trek - 9 Kms
Morning after early Breakfast, start trekking to reach Hemkund Sahib, one of the Holiest pilgrimage for the Sikhs. Snow covered peaks and mountains makes the back-drop for `The Hemkund Lake'.Return to Ghangaria for overnight stay in Hotel.

Day 5: Ghangaria - Govind Ghat (14kms) - Badrinath (22kms drive)
After breakfast trek down to Govind Ghat and start driving to Badrinath. On arrival check in the hotel and later visit to Mana village. You can visit Bhim Pull, Byas Gufa, Ganesh Temple and Mana Village. Later drive back to Badrinath. Evening free to visit temple by own. Overnight at hotel.

Day 6: Badrinath - Rudraprayag Drive - 150 Kms
Early morning you cane visit the Badrinath Temple for performing Pooja and Darshan. Later by 2nd gate at 8am we will depart for Rudrprayag. Lunch at Peepalkoti. Upon arrival check into the hotel for overnight stay. If time will permit, we will visit confluence of Alaknanda & Mandakani river and Koteshwar Mahadev.

Day 7: Rudraprayag - Rishikesh / Haridwar Drive - 160 Kms
Morning after breakfast, start drive for railway station or bus station at Rishikesh / Haridwar.
